“The room was clean and an although small, it was big enough for 2. The people that manage the hotel are extremely helpful and very friendly. Breakfast was Japanese style and was delicious. Each cup of coffee was hand dripped and the food was beautifully laid out. They were also kind enough to walk us out of the building and sent us on our merry way. This was our first hotel in Japan and it exceeded our expectations.”

“Small hotel behind Hon-Kawagoe station that met all the needs for a night stay. A short distance walk to the old town & night walking street. The lady staff cannot speak English but went out of her way to seek help from Information Center at the train station for us -- How thoughtful, Truly appreciate.”

, Thailand

“The location is close by subway. I like the traditional part. So relaxing”

, Philippines

“Kind and friendly owner, even though no English speaking, but they are still trying to use simple English to communicate! The location is awesome, near Hon Kawagoe station, 3 minute walk from hotel to station. We enjoy the stay a lot, definitely will come visit again ❤️”

“Great location - just 3 minutes walk from HonKawagoe station. Although we arrived before 4pm, they were happy to take our luggage for us. Once we returned we found they'd placed them in our room. Such service! We had a corner room, which was sunny, had lots of windows, which could be opened and had good light. The facilities in the room were very good. It was our first time in a Ryokan and we enjoyed it. Very clean, friendly hosts, great pillows, and in a nice area of town - close to everything. Walking to the JR Kawagoe station takes only 15 minutes. We would highly recommend.”

, New Zealand

“Friendly and helpful staff, despite limited English. Just 5 mins easy walk to station. Nice Japanese (or western) breakfast. Good size single bed. Very quiet location.”

, Australia

“Fantastic location..east. access to trains.. Very helpful staff ..”

, Australia

“Good place to stay if you want to stay overnight to explore Kawagoe. Walking distance to both train stations and to the main attractions in town.”

, Singapore

“Great location only a few mins walk from the station, and it's also very easy to get around on foot for sightseeing straight from the hotel. The owners are also lovely, (although they don't speak English, so non-Japanese speakers may want to keep that in mind).”
