“The Wingate is the best value for a hotel of its kind in Destin. The hotel is beautiful, and the location is perfect--just off US 98 but far enough back that you don't hear street noise. Also close within walking distance to stores and restaurants. My room was spacious and immaculate. The receptionist (Mary, an absolute sweetheart) did all she could to honor my request for a room on the top floor away from noise and the elevator. The jacuzzi was amazing! Hot with strong jets!”
