“Very big room with balcony in residential area. So you can feel like you are at home. I would prefer to stay at a hotel near to Alt stadt of Heidelberg for 2 nights stay. You have to take a bus to reach old city area which is 3-4 stops away. Though you can buy day travel cards at the reception which includes castle ticket.”
