“The hotel was difficult to find because of construction, but once I knew the cut-throughs, it was a superb location, near the cathedral, in walking distance of other sites, and nearby High Street with restaurants. The room, as expected, was small but comfortably furnished. Breakfast was hot and good. The rooms were in an adjacent building so noise from the pub was not a problem as I feared.”
“Room was exceptionally comfortable and spacious - really restful atmosphere. Furnishings were an interesting mix of well chosen pieces. Bathroom was very spacious and excellent. Dinner menu was imaginative and food was of a high standard at reasonable prices for this quality. Breakfast was really good in choices and quality. Staff really friendly.”
