We loved the pleasant public areas that offer a chance to be alone or to interact with other guests. The staff is young and friendly, very welcoming and very helpful. “We stayed for 3 nights. The hotel was beautiful. The location is off the beaten path in a good way. We took a bus from Beijing to Huairou and then a taxi another 30mins or so to the hotel ~50RMB.) Neither my boyfriend or I speak Mandarin but the staff was very accommodating and was able to help us with anything we needed. They brought in a translator our 2nd day. We had 2 delicious dinners at the hotel (only 2 on the menu) and breakfast was simple but appropriate. Lovely walk around the property and a great restaurant next door. The housekeeper of the property also gave us a ride to the bus station in Huairou after checkout which was above and beyond.”

“和爱人过生日，特意在酒店预订了晚餐，管家实在是太贴心了，特意去采了当地的野花和枝叶把餐桌布置得温馨无比。次日，当我们走步行栈道累劈回不去停车场的时候，还是nice的管家开车把我们送回停车场。 总之，不属于五星级的奢华，但环境和客房有品味，管家平和又nice，有机会还会再来。”

“进了大铁门就感觉进了一个新天地一样，还是不错的，非常幽静； 榻榻米的房间不要太赞，简洁大气，坐在蒲团上沏杯茶，自然就静下来了，小朋友也很喜欢； 只早上用了餐，品种不多，但还算不错，不过没啥特色； 总体而言，北方的民宿或者这样的主题旅店比起南方来，无论各方面，都缺少精致和匠心”
