“Nice experience. Traditional Japanese-style hotel with nice hot spring. The sceneray around hotel is also wonderful.”

, China

“The walk to the property is pleasant although its upslope and quite tiring for those with luggages. The staff are very friendly and helpful.”

, Singapore

“The place is beautiful, just a few steps distance to stunning Jiko-in and the food was awesome, love the tofu especially! Staff is very friendly and helpful when we ask questions (eg. how to tied up yukata, how to make bed etc.), proactively guide us the correct / recommended way to enjoy the hotpot dinner, thumbs up!”

, Malaysia

“Beautiful location, cool amenities like the onsen and footbath cafe. We really enjoyed the walk from the bus station to the ryokan, as it was very beautiful and there were a lot of nice little resturaunts and shops on the way up. Front staff were very kind and gracious.”

, USA

“The onsen and garden and general aesthetic was cool.”

, New Zealand

“This traditional Japanese Inn was the most authentic on my 3 day trip. I joined the dinner, which was traditional, and very well prepared. The hot spring was very nice and allowed me to relax after a long bike ride. The Inn is located in a small village, and somewhat located up on the mountain, thereby giving you a genuine feeling of isolation and real rural Japanese atmosphere. I can recommend this Inn to anyone who wants to experience the authentic Japanese countryside and a real original Ryokan.”

, Netherlands

“The place is beautiful, the onsens were great and very relaxing. The food (we took the dinner and breakfast) was stunning and staff very friendly. We recommend going here for a good ryokan experience even if you're on a budget !”

, France

“This is a great spot to go if you want to get out into the countryside, away from the big city areas. Great food, and the hot spring baths are gorgeous for relaxing in. Only downside is that it's a little difficult to get to; the closest bus stop drops you about 15m walking from the inn, and it's pretty much all uphill from there since it is literally in the mountains. It might be worth investing in a luggage service if you're traveling with a lot of bags.”

, USA

“Great place for those who are looking for a traditional and quiet experience in a small and beautiful village”

, Australia

“Highly recommendable! Friendly and helpful staff. Nice rooms, great onsen, great food. So much attention to details in every respect. Great place to stay for one or two days if you need some rest from busi days of from a long distance flights.”

, Germany
