“I stayed at this beautiful property while staying in Zanzibar for a night. It is a gem tucked behind a local community, Matemwe. The staff were nice and the facility was beautiful, I even had an outside shower (yay!). The food was excellent and the beach was quiet and not as hectic as Nungwi - so I was able to go for a nice walk alone without the harassment of tour salesmen and tourist tricksters. Therefore it the area the hotel is set in is very peaceful and authentic. And it is close to Mnemba island for snorkeling. There is not much in the area, such as shopping or stores. But Elisa (the property manager) will be happy to arrange for a taxi should you like to travel to Stone Town or Nungwi. I would definitely stay here again.”
