“Location was town centre, Staff friendly and helpful”
“Great location, free parking on site. Clean, comfortable (although small) rooms in the usual Ibis way. Staff very helpful and friendly. ”
“Ibis Douai Center An old building reborn to be a boutique hotel. The entrance area combines the lounge, bar and reception. The hotel has an elevator, but I would suggest limiting it uses for delivery of luggage to the room. Use the stairs to consume the extra calories from the wine and food. Daily breakfast is offered in the lower lever accessed from the reception area. The room size is OK, compact, three piece ensuite, toilet, hand basin, and shower. The parking is limited during the day, if meetings are being held in the hotel, however public paid parking is across the street. The best value Ibis Douai has is it staff. We found them extremely obliging, suggesting local restaurants even making reservations for us, and if unavailable finding alternatives.”
“Reception staff, the only staff we interacted with, were most excellent.”
“A really great location with parking and helpful staff. Easy to walk into Douai and immediately by the historic canonerie gardens.”
“The Staff were very friendly and helpful. Shower was really good ! Excellent location.”
“Food excellent, very comfortable. Brilliant receptionist. Great location and quiet.”
“Walking distance to the Gayant festival, concert next door at the historic cannon foundry park, market in the neighboring square and yet a relatively quiet sector of the city. Breakfast included warm Madeleines-- delicious!”
“Staff attentive and helpful. Free use of Internet extremely helpful as I had no internet myself as my phone was stolen in bordeaux”
“This was the best breakfast we encountered on our drive through France, even over the other Ibis hotels”
