“Location was pretty convenient. 5mins walk from train station. Very quiet road and rooms. Very clean. Spacious and areas to relax. There is a small kitchen facility for doing small stuff, microwave food, kettle, coffee, snacking. Large common living room. Very good wifi. It has security at night time. The hotel also seems part of a support social effort from a Christian charity to support the elderly. So the centre itself seems to have other interesting aspects to it.”

“Pretty much right in the centre of Uppsala. Very close to the train and bus station. Plenty of nice bars and restaurants close by. Room was clean and good for the price. Breakfast was good; although it did end at 0930, which would be fine for a business trip but is a bit early for a leisure stay. Staff were very helpful and friendly. The shared common area was a nice touch.”

“No breakfast was supplied. Challenges as no proper staff on duty at the weekend . for instance could not find any body to tell me about breakfast. Hotel number has only recorded message which is of no use. But good location.”

“This hotel is close to the railway station at the quiet end of one of the main streets in Uppsala. As I checked in during the evening I was sent a door code, and this worked out fine. My room was a good size, en suite and with a reliable wifi signal. Compared to other options in Uppsala this room was a bargain.”

“It was a former hostel/hotel for hospital visitors/patients so it is clean, well staffed and all the facilities are of a good standard... it is not a luxury hotel, but as a businessman I would rate this hotel very highly as it is consistently good value and the staff have always been most kind and helpful. It is my preference over all the downtown hotel accommodation.”

“Staff were very helpful and congenial. I had difficulty due to lost luggage, but staff immediately and thoroughly came to my aid and expedited the process towards a successful resolution. Breakfast service was excellent. I would highly recommend them to any traveler, and upon return to Uppsala will book there again.”

“Nice place to stay over night. Interesting (in a positive manner) check-in system. TV with programs in English. Good breakfasts (almost same every day: bread, knackebrot, cheese, ham, soft- and hard boiled eggs, peppers, tomato, cucumber, Swedish porridge, jams or apple puree, seeds, raisins and dried apricots, yoghurt, milk, honey, cereals, peanut butter), tea, coffee). No problem when we needed to leave a little bit later (after the check-out hour)”

“The hotel is very comfortable: both the room and the bathroom were quite big, one can clearly see that the hotel was originally designed for patients. The staff was very kind and helpful. One gets a chip card along the actual key, and it functions without problems. The location is perfect, very close to the station and the actual city centre. The internet connection was very reliable and strong.”
